The Digital Afterlife

This is a topic on which I have previously written.  It keeps coming up because there is no uniformity across the states on gaining access to online accounts once someone passes away.  Virginia has made it easier for parents to gain access to online accounts of their deceased minor children.  The Uniform Law Commission is seeking to normalize the law in this area.
